The Deosai National Park is a high-altitude alpine plain (plateau) and national park in the Northern Pakistan region of Gilgit Baltistan. To Encourage the Tourism of the area, a winter ski training program started with the collaboration of the Tourism Department, Government of GB and EvK2CNR.
The purpose of the training courses is to promote
winter tourism in Gilgit Baltistan through the sports such as skiing and
imparting skills to potential and institutions to cope with any incidents and
emergencies trained by the world-renowned trainers from Italy. Tourism &
Culture Department GB in collaboration with District Administration welcomed
first Ski Traversing by Italian Team at District Astore with official protocol on
15th March 2021.
The
following below mentioned activities were carried out in the event:

Welcomed
guests with playing traditional music anthems of GB
2.
Organized
traditional caps wearing ceremony
3.
Arranged
refreshments for the team
4.
Set
out to Chilim from Astore with protocol along with traditional music band
5.
Stay
in Chilim Valley
6.
Covered
Sky Traversing activity started at 7am to 7:30 PM in Chilim Valley
7.
Performed
a music anthem of GB to entertain guests and spectators
8.
Event
concluded at 7:30 PM
