The festival was organized by Tourism Department,
Gilgit-Baltistan in collaboration with Ghizer district administration to
promote winter tourism. Competition of ice hockey, Ice Skating, football and
open ice race are the main events. Stalls of local handicrafts were also
exhibited for the projection of local culture. Four teams were participated in
the event, Hunza Ibex, Hunza Leopard, GB Scouts & Team Ghizer (Khalti). Final
match played between Hunza Ibex and Hunza Leopard; Hunza Ibex won the match
with one goal. Ghizer Red won the ice football tournament. Chief Minister
Gilgit-Baltistan was the chief guest, he distributed trophies among winners and
runners up teams. Huge crowd of spectators were present to witness the event on
closing ceremony, 30th January 2021.
