Benefits of Sport Endowment Fund

 

·         The prime objective to arrange financial support and provide sports facilities to the youngsters to improve the medal position of Gilgit-Baltistan in national and international competitions.

·         Providing coaching/training facilities at door step and also give stipend to the selected athletes

·         Holding open trials under the supervision of this secretariat to select and prepare athletes for national and international competitions

·         Funds may be used to organize and arrange regional and national level competitions

·         Financing arrangements are the key element to attract teams and investors

·         The income from this endowment helps defray the salary and other related expenses of the head coach for a particular sport. Supporting our coaches enriches the direction and guidance our athletes receive and allows us to secure the top talent needed to win.

·         Medical facilities at various hospitals of Gilgit-Baltistan as well as transport facility (pick and drop for training venues) may also be provided to the selected athletes under the scheme

·         Sports equipment may be provided to the selected athletes on need basis

·         To promote indoor sports across Gilgit-Baltistan
